Bryan Schwarz
Battery Coordinator
Bryan Schwarz, a native to Southern California, is currently pursuing his degree in Business Administration. Bryan strives to set new standards amongst the marching arts community. Following high school, Bryan began to pursue a degree in the percussion arts. He originally studied and trained under Tad Carpenter at Pasadena City College, where he trained and performed in various ensembles. Bryan shifted his focus to the marching arts, beginning with Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps from 2012 until 2014, under the direction of Niko Jasniewicz, and later finishing his DCI career with the Sacramento Mandarins in 2015. Bryan also performed with the WGI Percussion Independent World ensemble Orange County Independent Percussion in 2015, and the Percussion Independent World Finalist POW Percussion in 2016 through 2017. Bryan has worked with a variety of scholastic ensembles, including Glendora High School, Bonita High School, Monrovia High School, Diamond Bar High School, and Rancho Starbuck Intermediate School. Bryan has also worked with independent ensembles such as Gold Drum and Bugle Corps from 2016 through 2017 and Vessel Drum and Bugle Corps’ inaugural season in 2018. Bryan is currently Percussion Caption Head at Glendora High School, where he is actively involved with the percussion program throughout the district. Bryan is eager to take on Vessel Drum and Bugle Corps to educate hard working percussionist within the marching arts community.
